Week 2 Update

Throughout the week we continued to create ideas for the game along with creating more finalized measurements for our board. The board will have a 20"x20" base and will have a height of 20". The upper level of the board is foot above the base. In order to get a better idea of how our board will look in real life, we created a prototype.

A few mechanics we decided to implement was a chance system we call the "Slice of Life" cards. When landing on a certain space on the board, the player will have to pick up a card and face the consequences given to them. The cards will have different life choices to make that will affect the player's business. They may have to move the location of their stores, pay taxes, or deal with the various affects of certain situations, such as scandals.

We also decided to have just 4 players, which make the game play more unique. Each player will have a different starting location, allowing them to gain their "assigned" territory in the beginning of the game, allowing them to later expand into other players' territories.
