The new spot adds luck to the game. When a player lands on the spot, they will draw a card with 2-4 different outcomes. The player will roll a special die, such as a 20-sided die, or multiple 6-sided dice in order to see which outcome they will receive. The player rolls hoping for a successful outcome, but depending on the card, the number they roll may hurt their standing.
There are also 2 new spots on the sides that do not have the roll for success tiles. On the South, there is the "New Menu Item" tile, which will give the player who lands on it extra money. In the Midwest there is a "Pay Wages" tile, where the player will lose money.
The effects of the utilities will be incorporated in the roll for success tiles and the "Slice of Life" cards, however we still wish to have their effects more integrated within the game. We also want to move electricity to second tier, where more important utilities will be, and have a different utility replace it on the bottom tier.
The blank space on Figure 1 represent the locations a player can own. The tiles will be different cities in the region where the player will buy a store location in that city. The cities in each location are as follows:
As seen in Figure 1, there are 4 separate "GO" tiles. Each player starts on a separate tile, allowing them to begin the game without competition and granting them the ability to buy their own properties before going into enemy territory. After certain conditions are met, the player must pass their original "GO" tile to ascend to the second tier.
